We believe in the importance of the work we do, and ensuring that individuals and families have the support they need to live a good life in the community.
That’s why we are working to build the practice of Person-Directed Planning and Independent Facilitation in our community.
The Facilitator’s Network of Waterloo Region, an initiative of Bridges to Belonging, is a community of practice – a place where independent facilitators, others who do similar work, parents, and self-advocates can come together to share ideas, inspiration, resources, and tools to develop a culture of inclusion in our community.
Check our event listings for the next Waterloo Region Facilitator’s Network meeting, and register for our newsletter at the bottom of our page to ensure you are kept up to date. We also invite you to make use of our Resource Library housed at our office.
