You will hear performances by The Buddy Choir, Self-Advocates, and will be entertained by our MC, Eric Drozd. You’ll also be wowed by performances by these three musicians – Tim Louis, Matthew Lima, and Don McDougall:

As a jazz singer and pianist, Tim Louis offers something very special. His voice is his own and his talents appeal to those of us who crave warm retro feelings but want something fresh and new.
Louis has been described as a triple-threat talent: singer, songwriter and pianist. As a performer, Louis connects with his audience through his warm and inviting personality. His vocal and piano work is both confident and relaxed. Self – assured, he possesses maturity in his writing, creating songs that are meaningful yet avoid the obvious.
Born in New Jersey, Louis first studied under jazz great Kenny Barron, earning a BA in Music from Rutgers University before moving to the New York scene.  A move to Canada brought with it a period of youthful exuberance as he took his musical talents and dallied in rock and country bands, looking for where he felt he belonged. Truth be known, he was also following a Canadian gal to her home in Kitchener-Waterloo. They married and she was instrumental to bringing him back to jazz. Yet it’s his appreciation for other genres of music which distinguishes his personal style. He interprets other artists through his jazz filter – injecting their influence into his definition of contemporary jazz.
Constant writing and recording (three CDs in his catalogue and counting) combined with countless shows deepened his command of songwriting and performing. Tim’s collection of original tunes are diverse yet naturally meld with one another. They have enabled him to share his talent across many thousands of miles and many performances for audiences including Presidents, Prime Ministers and British royalty. His personable expression might take the shape of a solo show, small jazz combos or, with his performance last summer with the Canadian Big Band, in front of a 17-piece ensemble. He has also performed with the KW Symphony arranging and orchestrating scores.
Matthew Lima is a gifted bassist on electric, fretless and upright bass and has been very active in the southern Ontario music community.  Throughout his career, he has shared the stage with many talented musicians and toured extensively throughout Canada and the United States.  He has done numerous theatre works with many different productions and countless fill-ins for other local bassists.  Matthew has made a career of being an expert freelance bassist.  His professionalism and attention to detail has made him a first call with many of his musical clients.
His playing history on the electric and upright bass includes touring and recording with multi-award – winning Superstar band The Western Swing Authority, Juno Award winners Susan Aglukark and Kellylee Evans, musical theatre productions with Drayton Entertainment and sharing the stage with such local greats as Kevin Ramessar, Larry Larson’s Jazz guys, Tim Louis, Randy Lyght, the house band for the KW GLEE series and Jim Davey’s Basically Basie Big Band.
Don McDougall is a graduate of the Humber College Music Program. He began studying drums at six years of age with noted percussionist Gary Tomlin. At the age of 17 he began his professional career with Opus II, a nine-piece show band. Over the next 36 years has performed or recorded with legendary jazz musicians Pat LaBarbera, Peter Appleyard and Jane Bunnett; Blues great Mel Brown and up and coming blues guitar master Gary Cain. He was also Second-in-Command and Assistant Director of Music for the Ceremonial Band of the Waterloo Regional Police Service from 2011 to 2016.
Don has played drums and percussion in numerous musical productions including Jesus Christ Superstar at Kitchener’s Centre in the Square; Drayton Entertainment’s “Cinderella”, “The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee” and two seasons of “The Sound of Music”; Royal City Musical Productions “Blood Brothers”, “Willy Wonka”, “Nunsense”, “Seussical”, “Singing in the Rain”, “Fiddler on the Roof” and “Into The Woods”; KW Musical Production’s “Joseph & the Amazing Technicolor Dream Coat”, “The Full Monty”, “Bye, Bye Birdie” and “Grease”; and Sundance Productions (New York City) and BB Promotions (Mannheim, Germany) 60th Anniversary “West Side Story” World Tour.
